31 weeks today. At my last appointment, I found out that the baby weights approximately 3 lbs. 9 oz. and is the 63rd percentile. Generally babies gain about half a pound each week, which would make the baby about 4 pounds this week. I have a regular doctor's appointment tomorrow. I'm trying to take it easy, but really no other news to report.
Baby is kicking up a storm and I'm getting bigger by the second... praying for no/minimal stretch marks. The doctor's office called today and said that I passed my diabetes test, which is great because doing the 3 hour test would have been torture. However, my iron is low so I'll need supplements. That helps explain my extreme exhaustion. I'm counting down the days until I'm out of work. I know it won't be a vacation, but I like to pretend for now haha
For Little Chris. She looks so much like Chris. There is only one picture where I think she looks like me. haha The pictures don't do the video justice. Can't wait to meet her! Next 2d ultrasound is in 2 weeks. My weekly appointments will start at about 33 weeks. So far, so good!
Grabbing her feet
I think she looks like me in this one. It looks like her eyes might be open. If you look closely, you can see her long eyelashes.
She doesn't quite have the hang of opening her eyes :)
So, today I went for a regular checkup. Everything looked good. The best part is I go back in 3 weeks for a 4d ultrasound!! Down side is I have to do my one hour glucose test.... YUCK on many levels. THen in 2 weeks I get another ultrasound - a regular 2d one. How exciting! I'll have appointments every two weeks after than, then will move to weekly appointments a little earlier than normal b/c of my blood pressure. It won't be long now! So much to do, so little time :)
I received my baby bedding today! YAY! It's perfect. They even threw in a comforter that I wasn't charged for.. nice. I only took a few pieces out since I don't any furniture to put it on yet. It will look so pretty once it comes together.
Baby is moving around a little now. I can feel it every once and awhile - more and more each day. I tried to start an online registry today. Wow there is a lot of stuff. I'm definitely going to have to make a trip to Babies R Us to see what everything is. I'm dreading work this week, but at least Tuesday is the big appointment! YAY! Hopefully everything looks ok. I'm a little nervous now.
Yesterday I went to the waterpark with William and Ashley. It was great lounging. I have so much to do today - housework and work work - yuck.
This picture was taken last Monday. I'm really starting to feel pregnant now. I had an appointment last Friday. It was a quick appointment, but I heard the heartbeat on the doppler. 150 beats per minute. The doctor everything looks good! I found out I won't get the big ultrasound until 20 weeks (last week of June/first week of July). I was hoping I'd find out before I went to visit Chris on June 11. Oh well.... In other news I have a really cute nursery theme picked out, so that's exciting :) I'll post pics as it comes together.
I'm excited to have another appointment tomorrow. It will be 11 weeks, 2 days. I have to do a 24 hour urine test beforehand - yuck. I'm working from home so I don't have to lug my pee bottle around the office haha More updates tomorrow!
I feel huge already... my pants are tight and I have a beer gut. (Angela, I already had to use your band!) However, I'm feeling much better - still tired though. Our next appointment is April 26th, so I'll have more updates then.
This was last Friday, 6 weeks and 6 days. The baby is upside down all the way to the right. The attached little round bubble is the yolk sack. We could see the flicker of the heartbeat and the developing brain (that's how the tech knew that the baby was upside down). We also heard the heartbeat, which was neat. It was 135 beats per min. The doctor said that everything was on schedule and measuring perfectly.
We just created this blog to keep everyone updated on the status of Baby Nothstine without oversharing on Facebook. We're new to blogspot, so be patient with us. More to come!!
